Tiger Shroff safe after reported Juhu shooting; driver injured

Actor Tiger Shroff was safe and unhurt following a shooting incident in Mumbai’s Juhu area, India Today reported on October 18, citing confirmation from his team. The actor was admitted to hospital for observation, while his driver, who suffered injuries in the attack, was receiving treatment at Nanavati Hospital. The report said the driver’s injuries were not life-threatening.

Mumbai Police cordoned off the scene and recovered spent bullet casings, according to the report. Forensic units were deployed, checkpoints were established across the city and 12 teams were formed to investigate. The reporting did not identify the attackers or establish a motive.

The incident also drew criticism from opposition leaders, who alleged that it reflected a breakdown in law and order under the Home Department and cited earlier attacks involving film-industry figures. Those comments are political allegations, not findings of the investigation.
