UBS has acquired a 4.8% equity stake in Mumbai-based wealth manager 360 ONE WAM by exercising all 2.05 crore warrants issued to it in July 2025. Economic Times Markets reported the transaction, citing the Indian company’s exchange filing on Thursday, October 22.

The Swiss bank paid approximately Rs 1,584 crore towards the remaining 75% of the warrant exercise price. In return, 360 ONE WAM allotted it 2.05 crore equity shares at an issue price of Rs 1,030 each. The payment is therefore the balance exercise amount, not the full consideration for the shares.

Conversion follows the 2025 wealth management agreement

The equity investment stems from a partnership announced in April 2025, when UBS agreed to sell its Indian onshore wealth management business to 360 ONE WAM for about $32 million. The arrangement also included warrants that were described at the time as representing a 4.95% stake in the Indian firm.

Following the latest allotment, 360 ONE WAM’s subscribed and paid-up share capital rose from Rs 40.79 crore to Rs 42.84 crore. Its share count increased from 40.79 crore to 42.84 crore, with the face value unchanged at Re 1 per share. UBS’s holding following conversion is reported at 4.8%.

Shares rise, but remain lower for the year

360 ONE WAM shares were trading about 1.5% higher at Rs 1,053 on the NSE in the report’s Thursday market snapshot. That quoted trading price is distinct from the Rs 1,030 issue price for UBS’s newly allotted shares.

Despite the session’s gain, the stock was down around 3% over the preceding week, 12% in 2026 and more than 11% over the past year. Longer-term returns remained positive at more than 93% over three years and 165% over five years. The report put the company’s market capitalisation at over Rs 42,586 crore. These figures are a reported snapshot, not live market quotations.
