Trump Denies Role in Reported Starshield Slowdown in Ukraine
Donald Trump denied involvement in a reported slowdown of satellite services used by Ukraine. His remarks did not establish who ordered any slowdown.
BharatVox ·
US President Donald Trump denied involvement in a reported slowdown of Starlink and Starshield satellite services used by Ukraine while speaking to reporters in Washington on October 21, according to India Global Review.
Asked whether Elon Musk had personally ordered the slowdown, Trump said he had not been involved and did not know who was responsible. The question followed an October 20 report by The Wall Street Journal alleging that Musk had ordered a slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink that Ukraine uses to help defend against Russian missile attacks.
Trump’s denial concerned his own involvement; it did not confirm the allegation against Musk. BharatVox has not independently verified the reported slowdown or who may have ordered it.
