U.S. President Donald Trump urged supporters at a rally in Dalton, Georgia, to turn out for the upcoming 2026 midterm elections, describing them as potentially the most consequential elections in American history, India Global Review reported on October 17.
Trump asked the crowd to vote as though he were on the ballot, saying turnout was stronger when he was a candidate.
The rally was briefly interrupted while several people were escorted from the venue. Trump characterised them as paid protesters but offered no evidence to support that allegation.
