Trump Says He Deserves Pulitzer, Attacks Russia Probe Coverage

U.S. President Donald Trump said he deserved a Pulitzer Prize for his writing while addressing a South Carolina rally ahead of the midterm elections, India Global Review reported on October 22. The claim followed his missing out on the Nobel Peace Prize.

Trump also criticised journalists awarded Pulitzers for reporting on the Russia investigation, alleging that their coverage was inaccurate. That characterisation is his allegation, not an established finding; the outlet’s summary did not identify the reporting he challenged or give evidence supporting his criticism.
